Valentineās Day isnāt just for couples ā itās for everyone who believes in connection, joy, and the possibility of love in all its forms. Whether youāre single, thriving, searching, or somewhere in between (hi, same š), 2026 is a beautiful moment to make love and partnership part of your life intention.
And honestly? Thatās exactly why Iām so excited to bring everyone together at the end of this month for a Vision Board Party, led by my dear friend and success coach Melanie Klein ā because setting intentions for love, life, and connection is one of the most powerful things we can do.
This year, finding partnership isnāt just a romantic hope for me ā itās actually part of my business plan. Not because love is a transaction, but because when your personal life is aligned, everything else rises with it. Thatās where the idea of a life list comes in: the dreams, relationships, adventures, and purpose that become the rocket fuel behind the life (and career) youāre building.
So hereās to love, laughter, and everything along the way until you find it. ā¤ļø
š§” Traditional Ways to Meet Someone
Sometimes the most classic paths are still the most effective:
Meet Through Friends & Social Circles
Let your friends know youāre open to being set up. A trusted friend already understands your values, your energy, and what might actually work for you.
Dinner parties, birthdays, casual hangs ā chemistry often sparks when youāre simply living your life.
Blind Dates
Literally ask your friends. When you say it out loud and have people who love you help you make it happen ā they will. Again, itās all about intentionality and goal setting (just like buying your dream home).
Work & Everyday Life
People still meet through shared routines: the gym, coffee shops, dog walks, hobby groups⦠repeated proximity builds real connection.
š± Modern Ways to Find Love (Apps, Speed Dating & Matchmaking)
In 2026, dating is a mix of technology, intention, and curated experiences. Here are some of the best modern options:
Dating Apps
Apps remain one of the most common ways people meet today ā and the key is knowing which ones match your vibe.
Popular apps for serious dating:
- Hinge ā Designed to be deleted, great for relationship-minded people
https://hinge.co - Bumble ā Empowering structure, strong for straight and queer matches
https://bumble.com - Match.com / eHarmony ā More traditional, long-term focused platforms
https://match.com
https://eharmony.com
LGBTQ+ specific apps:
- Scruff / Grindr ā Often more hook-up leaning, but youād be surprised⦠itās also about quality and how you use them. Iāve met some of my dearest friends on these apps (and a few have even become clients lol).
https://www.scruff.com
https://www.grindr.com - HER ā Designed for queer women and non-binary folks
https://weareher.com
The real trick with apps is intention: write an honest profile, stay open, and donāt confuse volume with compatibility.
Matchmaking Services
If apps feel overwhelming or shallow, professional matchmaking can be an amazing alternative.
- Tawkify (one Iāve personally explored) offers curated matches with a more personal touch.
https://www.tawkify.com
One thing to note: matchmaking services can be incredibly helpful⦠but also pricey, so they tend to be best if youāre ready to invest in the process.
Speed Dating & In-Person Events
Speed dating is having a real moment again ā and honestly, itās refreshing.
In LA, events like those hosted by Next Fun Thing are fun, welcoming, and inclusive, with options for both straight and gay daters.
https://www.nextfunthing.com
And the best part? Speed dating is super fun and relatively inexpensive ā itās a great night out whether you meet āthe oneā or not.
You may even just make a new friendā¦
Iāve found three that way. š
šæ Holistic & Unexpected Ways to Find Love
Sometimes love shows up when youāre not forcing it ā but when youāre expanding your life.
Consider:
- Wellness retreats
- Meditation or sound bath communities
- Volunteering
- Travel groups
- Hobby-based meetups
The goal isnāt āfind someone immediatelyā⦠itās ābuild a life where connection can happen.ā
⨠Vision Boarding Love: Making Intention Real in 2026
One of the most powerful prep steps you can take before dating is getting clear on what you want your love story to feel like.
Thatās why Iām so excited to bring everyone together at the end of February 2026 for a Vision Board Party, led by my dear friend and colleague Melanie Klein, an incredible success coach.
(You can learn more about Melanie here:)
https://www.melaniecklein.com/
Last year was such a meaningful experience for everyone who attended: warm energy, great conversations, big dreams, and people leaving with real clarity about what they wanted to create.
Weāre still firming up the final details, but it will be happening at the end of this month ā and Iād love to have you there.
āļø Personal Prep Work for Love
Before you swipe, RSVP, or say yes to a date⦠start with yourself.
1. Write a Partner Manifesto
Get clear on what you want.
And honestly? Itās okay to be as granular ā even a little āsuperficialā ā as you need to be.
If you know you want someone adventurous, someone soft, someone with ambitionā¦
Or hey ā if you need a man with tattoos ā put it down.
If you want help, I have a Partner Manifesto guide and Iād be happy to share mine ā just reach out.
2. Journal with Intention
Journaling is one of the best ways to uncover patterns, desires, and what youāre truly ready for.
Rob Dial (The Mindset Mentor) always talks about the power of asking the right questions ā and you can even ask AI to help generate prompts.
https://robdial.com
Try:
- What does partnership mean to me now?
- What patterns am I ready to break?
- How do I want love to feel in my daily life?
3. Make a Plan
Love doesnāt have to be passive.
If partnership is a priority in 2026, treat it like one.
Literally timeblock the work ā the dates, the apps, the vision exercises.
I like to treat myself to a working lunch at the Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel, maybe a glass of rosĆ©, and get into the mood and groove of envisioning what Iām calling in.
Whether itās apps, friends, professional services, or intentional experiences ā the magic is in showing up consistently.
š A Valentineās Message to You
Whether youāre coupled, thrupled, dating, healing, or fully single ā we are all creatures of connection.
Valentineās Day is a reminder that love exists in many forms: friendship, community, family, self-love⦠and yes, romantic partnership too.
If you want to make 2026 the year love finds you, donāt just hope ā make a plan. Try something new. Say yes to being seen.
And donāt forget: our upcoming Vision Board Party at the end of this month, led by Melanie Klein, will be the perfect space to set those intentions alongside amazing people.
Happy Valentineās Day ā¤ļø
And as always, feel free to reach out if you have questions about any of the apps, events, or services Iāve tried.
